Magruder Hires Director of Patient Accounting
Ed Neumann C.H.A.M., was recently hired as Magruder Hospital’s Director of Patient Accounting. Neumann’s experience has been in Revenue Cycle since 1989 where he worked in numerous Revenue Cycle roles at the Cleveland Clinic for 35 years. His background ranges from Credit & Collections, Customer Service, Patient Access, and Financial Counseling and Billing.
After he left Cleveland Clinic, he worked for WCA Hospital (UPMC) in Jamestown New York as the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle. Neumann was a consultant at hospitals in Michigan, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Most recently he worked at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, Michigan as the Hospital Billing Manager. Neumann finally left his days as a road warrior and found his roots back home in Ohio at Magruder Hospital. He received his Associates of Arts Degree in May 2024 from Lorain County Community College and is a member of NAHAM where he holds a Certified Healthcare Access Management (CHAM) certification and is a member of HFMA in Michigan.
Neumann currently resides in Avon, Ohio with his wife Patti. They have two adult daughters and a 3 year old grandson. He enjoys spending lots of vacation time in Disney World, traveling, woodworking, grilling outdoors, fishing, yard work, and home improvement. Neumann is happy to say that he can come home everyday to Ohio and spend lots of time with family and friends.
