  • Complete decongestive therapy (CDT) is a noninvasive treatment for lymphedema including manual lymphatic drainage, compression, exercise and skin care
  • Vestibular rehabilitation is an exercise-based program to improve balance and reduce problems related to dizziness
  • A video fluoroscopic swallowing exam (VFSS) is noninvasive and uses fluoroscopy to help identify the thicknesses of liquid and food that a person can most safely eat
  • Kinesiology Taping is a therapeutic taping technique using an elastic cotton material to alleviate pain, facilitate lymphatic drainage and promote neuromuscular awareness and movement.
  • Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) uses handheld instruments to break down scar tissue and relieve tension and tightness in connective tissue.

The first step of treatment is typically an evaluation with a therapist to discuss your goals and to assess your current level of pain, mobility, range of motion, flexibility and any other health issues you might be dealing with. Then you and your therapist can come up with a treatment plan and a schedule of how often you will come to therapy.
