Magruder’s 81st Anniversary & Wellness Event
Magruder’s 81st Anniversary & Wellness Event was a fantastic time. Participants enjoyed the 15 foot inflatable walk-thru colon as Magruder General Surgeon Dr. Ray Fuller showed people through and spoke about colon health. A number of Magruder Hospital Departments offered screenings and information and the Magruder Auxiliary hosted a display of Magruder scrapbooks and photo albums. The hospital invited all those who were born at Magruder to stop by for a little treat and some recognition and there was a no-alcohol happy hour with snacks and a slushie machine. There was also a giant hamster wheel that attendees could walk/run on to make a tasty shaved ice treat, and the OSU Extension was there with their ‘smoothie bike’. Farm Market gift certificates were handed out and the Ottawa County Health Department and other area agencies provided health & wellness information and resources for all ages.
